What's better? A lie that makes a smile or the truth that makes a tear?

For me, I prefer the last one because we're not living only for today.
To see or hear the truth might be hurt, but it always be the truth.
Have you ever hurt ? "It's better get hurt today than getting more pain tomorrow."

I prefer speaking the truth to lying because we have to live with truth.
As the saying 'There is no secret in the world', truth is still be truth.
Even though we tell a lie to others, someday they would know!!

Sometimes we want to say the truth but we can't as we afraid of what will happen after we said the that.
Sometimes we want to say a lie to make a listener happy but it becomes making us tears.

For others, I choose to tell a lie for making them feel better because I think I don't know them well and they don't know me well. Both telling a lie to make someone smile and telling the truth that hurts have advantage and disadvantage. Telling a lie that makes someone smile. It can make someone happy for the rest of his life. For example you tell a lie to someone who is in badly heart attack condition to make him happy and enjoy the time he has. Isn't it good to make someone happy before he dies? I am sure it is and nobody wants to die with a head full of shit. Every one wants to die in peace. The disadvantage of this is that the lie cannot stay forever. Lying is hurt. Sooner or later the truth is going to released. We might not like it and we would deadly hurt for trying to accept the truth. As well as telling the truth, it hurts to know the truth, but it is something that cannot be changed. We are human who are superior than animal. We have abilities to deal with problem and a brain to think critically. So we have to find a way to cope with the hurtful truth which we will have to live with it for the rest of our life. Personally, I prefer to know the truth that hurts because I think it's challenging for me to deal with me. Also i think dealing with problems helps me to grow to be a better person to live in today rough world.

It depends. I will think of who I talk to and what I talk about.
If I talk to someone who is sensitive, I don't think I dare to tell them the truth because I`m afraid they can't accept it.
So I prefer telling a lie which makes them happy to hear and I think it's a better way.
If someone I talk to is strong enough and understand well, I will dare to tell the truth.
Although the truth can make they unhappy to hear, I will tell them because I don't like to lie.
However, the most important thing I think of is trying to tell the truth and not to hurt anyone.

Even though the truth hurts more than the lie cause for the first time , after the fake thing revealed, the listener is surely to be worse. I support to tell the truth because if the person always tells the truth , he has no need to worry about what he has said. Both of them have different benefits.
If it is a white lie, it's OK.
But for me, I prefer telling the truth than the lie because I don't want to lie.
