Should we modernize schools with more technology?

Modernizing the every day classroom has its ups and downs, but overall is
a benefit to the students, as well as the teachers. For the students, there is
access to limitless information on literally any topic at their finger tips,
which can be utilized in many differing ways. They can write a research paper
from the info they find online, and it is arguably easier than using a dusty
old Encyclopedia. For teachers, modern technology gives them a chance to
enhance the learning experience for their students, therefore enticing the
interest of those they are teaching.

Technology can help improve education system if we know how to manage it (also with enough budget) I've seen some schools provide projector screen with internet and computer as teaching material. I think it was really awesome. Technology allow teaching process to be easier and better in so many ways.

No, I do not agree with that school should have more hi-tech things.
In Thailand, even though the government provides many hi-tech things to school, most teachers have no idea about how to use and how to apply into the classroom.
Thai teachers seem to teach students like traditional style by letting students read the course book and do the exam at the end of the class.
To make school modernized is a great idea but to make it effective like in a plan, the teachers should understand about the hi-tech things first.
