| There are other things you can do to feel less tired the next time you travel. Well, let’s see! Firstly, try changing your meal and sleep times before you go. Several days before you travel, start moving your bedtime and hours for meals closer to the times you plan to eat and sleep on your trip. Secondly, start making small changes while in flight. For example, change your watch when you get on the airplane. This isn’t just only the playing a trick on the mind but it can help you to start thinking of the time at the other end of the flight also. Moreover, try to sleep on the plane if it is nighttime in the place where you are going and stay awake if it is daytime. Thirdly, you should arrive early. If you are traveling for work or for a personal reason, try to arrive a few days early, if possible. This will give your mind and body more time to correct to the new hours. Fourthly, drink lots of water before, during, and after your flight but avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine a few hours before you plan to sleep because alcohol and caffeine can interfere with sleep. Lastly, just move around. During your flight, get up and walk around or stretch every so often. But after you land, avoid heavy exercise near bedtime. Exercise near bedtime can delay sleep, whether on an overseas trip or at home.

| It's hard to avoid jet lag after take a long flight! I'm a person who always get an air sick! The only thing that I do is taking sleeping pills but it doesn't really help. I still get jet lag after my feet touch the ground. The best way to fight with it is sleeping! It does help!

| I have never felt jet lag because I have never taken a long fight. I just take a domestic flight so I do not feel jet lag. Anyways, If you feel jet lag; you should take a long rest after your long flight.

| Jet lag is when we fly oversea to different time zone. Our body's internal clock experience the disruption of your sleeping and waking cycle. When I first flew to USA which is in the other part of the world, my tip to fight jet-lag was spending a lot of time out in the sunlight, which will help my body reset its natural time clock to coincide with my new surroundings. I think this way really works.

| I've been visit a lot of different time zone in The US and Asia but I never really have jet lag. I think it's because I was following all programs and plans that the airline make up for the passengers. All airline will have all plans such as food time. sleep time and wake up time to reduce jet lag as much as possible.

| Set your watch to the time it'll be at your destination as soon as you board the plane and try to behave (sleep, eat, etc.,) appropriately.
Don't drink a lot of alcohol, but do keep up your regular fluid intake.
Try to stretch your legs on the journey by walking around the aircraft (easier said than done, I know)

| I never had jet lag I swear. I don't know how it feels. When I flew oversea, I always slept and ate. Maybe it helps. I slept all the way to my destination and I was tired only on the first day I arrived the destination. After that I was good. Nothing happened to me. Hehehe I suggest you do whatever the captain or the flight attendants tell you to do.

| I have never had jet lag before because I have not flown a long way. I do not know very much about jet lag.
But, if I did have jet lag then I think I will just sleep until I feel better.

| If you are traveling for more than four days or across more than five time zones, you will probably benefit from planning how you can adjust to the new time zone the fastest, using the clues below. Keep tabs on your home clock. Before you arrive at your destination, figure out what time it is back home. Keep in mind that your body thinks it's still that time. You'll need to gradually align your body with the new time zone. So set your watch to the new time as soon as you get on the plane, but don't lose track of what time your biological clock is keeping.
