No, I do not like chewing gum in any circumstance.
I think chewing gum impolite and very rude.
It is good to chew a gum for some reasons but chewing a gum
in public is not good or appropriate. I do not like a person who chews a gum.

I rarely chew a gum. So definitely that I don't chew a gum in class. I think chewing gum is annoying and rude especially in the classroom. Gum helps distracted students stay on focus when someone who chews gum loudly. Then he/she disposes of the gum outside the trash can, then somebody might step on it and it messes their shoes.
