Why do teachers give so much homework?

Teachers give so much homework because teachers want students to remember what they learn in school.
School helps you do well in life, whether you become a parent, doctor, or store owner.
Teachers want to help you succeed, so they give you homework.
Homework helps you remember the things your teacher said in class.
Homework lets you practice on your own. If you do your homework, you can feel more confident and do better
in school the next day.

The reason why teacher give a lot of homeworks to student bacuase it is the ways to check understanding what they have learnt from teacher. Moreover, giving a lot of homeworks makes students pratice what they have got from the lesson too. However, if teacher give so much homeworks , it cause student don't want to study that subject.

I have no idea, but I think maybe they just don't know that we're already have a lot of homework!
They also don't realize that we have many classes, not only one of them.
I am so sick of this, I am already in the 4th year and about to intern in the school but I still have to do a lot of homework, I should prepare myself for working in the school now!
