Opponents believe that legalizing prostitution would lead to increases in sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS, global human trafficking, and violent crime including rape and homicide. They contend that prostitution is inherently immoral, commercially exploitative, empowers the criminal underworld, and promotes the repression of women by men.

In my opinion, I think prostitution should be legalized. I believe if it were legalized, it could decrease the sexual crime such as raping, human trafficking, and murders. It is also a way for some people who don't have jobs to get one. It would also help to reduce the amount of gang violence because there would be no need for pimp/gang to keep the prostitute safe.

It's such a sensitive question for Thai woman and of course Thai culture.
To be legal, it must be control under the rules of human trafficking.
To think differently, putting prostitution legal can support the human trafficking,
and also the sex discrimination.
Then people should think cautiously about the effect from prostitution
being legally and the rules that can cover all the problem later.

We have to admit the fact that our country is earning a noticeable amount of money from illegal prostitution. Prostitution has been running through the history since ancient era. It should acceptable and allowed under the law. By all means, legalize it but make it safe and worth it.
