How was your first sarary?

My first salary was when I worked as a waiter at the restaurant in Chachoengsao province. I applied for a waiter in Chook-kroo Mookrata restaurant. I wrote the application form with the employer and she told me that will called me later.
I waited for two days then I answered the phone from her. At the moment I was very glad. She told me about the salary I will got 2,400/month . I must stared to working at 14.00 o’clock and finished at 00.00 o’clock.
About working the first I cleaned around the restaurant ,swept the floor and cleaned the table. Approximately 16.00 o’clock when the customer came I will received and I serve the drinking to them. When the customer check bill it was very special time for many waiters or waitresses because we waited for the small change or they were called “ tip ” In the each of customer might gave the small change to me three Baht , five Baht, ten Baht ,twenty Baht , The minimum of tip I got ten Baht/day and the maximum of tip I got Three hundred Baht/day.

Back when i was in America, I worked as an cashier and my first salary was only 7.25 bucks per hr.
Compare with other of my American friends, this is considered to be the minimum salary,it is acceptable though. I'm not American citizen and i was just a student. I worked totally thirty hours a week. Asides from my permanent salary, I also got additional tips from the customers. They will pay extra if they satisfy your service. That was my first salary of my life.
