Why students should do homework?

In my opinion, homework is the best way to review what students have learned at school. Yes, children should receive some homework, but the workload should be less than 2 hours each night, as teachers and parents are constantly pushing for them to join in extracurricular activities and spend time with family. Without this time, it can add to stress and emotional detachment from their family.

I think homework is one of the thing that can help students review what they have learned in classroom. Sometimes, learning inside the classroom is not enough for student to remember and develop their abilities of studying. So homework is like a helper to increase the limit of abilities of students. I think classroom activity is not just only the way to evaluate or observe students but there is another way to know deeply about student's thought or abilities. So homework is designed to allow students to find the way to get the answer by themselves because teacher can prove by their homework. However, in real situation students sometimes copy each other or look up the answer in the key to make sure that their answers are correct. And also teacher is the factor that forces them to do like that as teacher expects to see the right answer ignoring the way that students get the answer.

I think that we should have homework MOST days.
I say most days because it isn't fair to get homework on vacations like winter or summer break.
I don't even think that we should get homework on days that are only one day off.
Other than that we need homework everyday, it is good practice.
It is especially good when you are studying something difficult,
homework can help, it is practicing the topic you are learning and improve your skills on it.

I would like to separate 2 reason for this topic.
Firstly, Homework can practice their skills. Because classroom activity cannot guarantee their knowledge and ability.
Secondly, Sometimes homework cannot evaluate student's responsibility because somebody copy homework from each other.

For me, doing homework is the benefit method for reviewing and checking
student's understanding after they have finished learning in their class.
When I have studied at school, I didn't understand why my teacher gave me lots of assignment.
When I asked them, they told me that "For practicing and reviewing"

There are many reasons why students should do homework.It depends on personal thinking.
In my point of view, homework is one of the best tools to let students review their understanding from the lesson.
Moreover, homework is one of the tools to let them practice what they get after they studied.
However, most of Thai students hates to do homework for many reasons. As we will be teachers in the future,          
we should find the way to solve this problem together. Not only it makes Thai Educational System more strength

Homework is to review what students have learn from school. It's a good exercise for the brain to think and practice solving problems. It can also help parents to know what their kids have been learning at school. It teaches students to work independently. Also it allows students to learn
and find answer by themselves using resources such as internet, library, materials, etc. However I think giving the right amount of homework will have good influence on students's learning because giving too much homework will stress them out as they have limit time and it's not just one class for a homework.

Aww I hate doing homework. When I was young I always felt bad when the teahers asigned homework. I do not agree with doing tons of homework. Students should have a free time after school. Thai students spend too much time at school and I think that makes the brain blur. I hope I don't have to asign a lot of homework in the future.

Doing homework is the method to help students become to intellegent person. Students will practice what they get after studying in class. However, if teacher give assignments or homeworks too much, it is not good for students. Because students will boring on the subject. Additionally, they will have negative attitude about the course as well. I am a person who don't like to do homework also. When I was a child , I didn't prefer to do homework inside the classroom and outside classroom also.

If they don't do it, they may forget the knowledge after the school.
Anyway, teachers should not give too much homework for them.
They should get only for practice not for the points or scores.

Although I don't like doing homework, I think it's still important to do for students.
Homework is good for students because they can practice at home.
It's the way to help them not to forget what they have learned in the classroom.
It also helps them solve the problems the the exercises teacher gave them.
When they do homework, they will find what they don't understand in the lessons.
So they can ask the teacher in the next day. If there's no homework, they may forget the lesson.
