Should English be the official language in Thailand?

Nowadays, English play an important role in Thai context such as Thai educational system; there is an English course as curriculum and instruction. Moreover, English play an important role in business circle; the businessman use English to communicative with other country. As you see English play an important role in Thai context. However, there are many people argue English should be the official language in Thailand meanwhile a number of people English should not be the official language in Thailand. In my point of view, I support English should not be the official language in Thailand. I have a reason to support this idea. My reason is proud of Thai language. There is not much country that has their own languages. Therefore, as we are Thai should be proud of Thai language and should to the official language in Thailand. We shall say thank you who found Thai language that makes us has the official language at the present time.

In my point of view, English should not be the official
language of Thailand. Because there is Thai language
for Thai. We are Thai so our official language should be Thai
language. However, English should be the second language
of Thailand because if Thai people know English they can
communicate with people around the world.

Why should we switch to use a foreigner one?
But we can be like Dutch people
in the Netherlands, especially in Amsterdam, English in the second language as much as the first language (Dutch) Everybody can speak perfect English

From my point of view, we should use english to speak because it's a national language.
We don't pay for english teacher.

I think although we have own language, Thai, we should use English as an official language also. In my opinion, if we use English in daily life, our English skills will be better than nowadays.
