How can you improve your English language skills?

These are my ways to improve my English skills.
- read books in English language when I have a free time.
- listen to music in English.
- watch movies and cartoons with English soundtrack.
- always keep taking revision about English to review what I have learned.
- talk with friends in English language.
- when playing game, I always try to understand all about the story and what the characters say.

How can I improve my English skills?
This is question is very interesting.
There are many ways to back up my English skills.
First, I have to read the textbook in English like student weekly i have have bought from the shop.
Inside the book, it will have the unknown words so I can see the meaning beside the paper
it shows me about the meaning and parts of speech to use so I can know and understand quickly.
The other ways are watching English speaking interview from bbc or the current news.
Listing very often from native speaker in youtube or my teacher.
Speaking English as much as I can when i have a chance. And the last one one Speak alone in English and try think in English as well.

Accent? always watch BBC channels (not American, if you want pure English, its best to listen to British T.V channels with their posh Oxford accent.

Listen to movies/films...when going to an English speaking country, speak in English and try to start conversations. Don't be shy to ask if you are misunderstanding something.

Surround yourself with English speakers.
If you have a few friends that are great at speaking English,
hang out with them! Invite them over to dinner so your home becomes an English hub.
Find a tutor to do some one-on-one with.
Do a language exchange, where you can teach them your language
and they can teach you theirs. Immerse yourself in it as much as you can!

I have many ways to improve my English skills. I attempt to use English every day whenever I have a chance to use it such a write my diary, read English article, listen to English song. However,I focus on using for communicatio with foriegn teachers. I love speaking but I am poor to speak English. Therefore,I often speak English as much as I have a chance. - Think in English.
A huge mistake English language learners make is to think in your native language and
then translate into English in your heads.
- Talk to yourself out loud at home.
Talking to yourself out loud will help you in the process of thinking in English instead
of translating to English from your native language. Get in the habit of
speaking freely without the worry of being heard or criticized.

Different people have their own different learning style, some love to read English novel but doesn't like to listen to English music, some like to watch English movie. Me personally, I relax myself by listening to English music and reading english novel when i have freetime. I also read the news-BBC, The newyork times, the sunday times, CNN-before go to bed. Instead of watching Thai drama, i like to watch American teenager's bolg channel. I try to put myself associate with english all the time because as a Thai student, i know we don't have much chance to speak or practise English language.

There are several ways that you are able to do by yourself to improve English speaking ability.
1. Read a lot of books, magazines, articles, blogs and novels. This would help in increasing your vocabulary as well.
2. Indulge in watching sports and listen to commentators, watch news, programmes which you like.
3. For practicing speaking I would suggest that you do that by speaking a chapter from a book or a novel by standing in front of a mirror. By practicing this habit daily for 15-20 minutes will bring about a lot of confidence in you and will improve your fluency as well.

- listening to English songs and find the definition of unknown word
- play The Sims game because most vocabularies in this game can use in daily life so it is my authentic material to learning English
- try to read the guide post or information paper in English

I hate reading so much!
To improve my English, I would do everything except reading.
I will watch English movie (without sub-title), though I don't understand what they say! haha
I will listen to English songs. (They help me a lot to remember English words.)
I will text/chat with friends in English sometimes but not in karaoke language!

I do not like to talk with either foreign people or Thai.
I do not know why I do not like to talk to the people who do not close to me.
But I love reading.
The way I practice my speaking skill is to remember all the sentences or words.
Then use them with my parents.
Sometimes I talk to them in English; and I also talk to myself.
