What is the first question that you ask your parents when you call them?

For my dad, I will ask him where he is first.
The place he stays will lead me conversation because
if he is outside, I will tell him hurry to go home before being late night.
If he are on duty, I will tell him not forget to have a meal
and I will entertain him by telling him funny story.
For my mom, I will ask her she have eaten yet.
Most of conversation, she will lead me. haha
Mostly, we ask and talk about making merit at temple,
she likes to tell me what she did at temple and I listened.
And I will end with telling them take care their health.

Every Friday they will call me and ask that I will go home or not.
I will ask them back my question because if they work on the weekend, I won't go home.

I call my parents thrice a week and the question that I must ask them is "Are you free Mom? or Dad?" because they work at night. They aren't usually free to talk unless it is after 11 pm. If they ain't free then I will just give them another call later or they will call me back when they free. Then I will just talk about stuff and the shop and ask if they have eaten or how they are feeling. The funny part is that the first question that my parents will ask me is that "Are you going broke?" that's so funny. They always assume that I don't have the money that's why i call them but that's not true. I call them because I miss them and growing up to be adult makes me realize how much I love them. So I'd like to tell them that as many times as I can before they ain't here to hear me say it myself.
