| As being Thai, it is normal that we can speak Thai, in contrast, it will be better if we can speak foreign language, especially English, because it is an international language. Now there are many Thais who can speak and write English well which brings them good opportunity. The government also supports Thai people to learn English. However, it is not important enough to put English as an official language in Thailand because we have our own language which people around the country can communicate understandingly. If we have English as the official language instead of Thai, or have both for official languages, it will slowly swallow Thainess until we lose our Thai identity, and finally we are not able to remain our own language.

| English is just the colonized language showing how powerful the UK is. So, I disagree with using English as the Thai's official language. Thai language shows how cultural prosperity Thailand is. If we lose our language, it means we lose our root. Thai people should be proud of our identities and our rich culture. Anyway, don't forget to study English because it is also important, too.

| English language is the international language. People can use English to communicate to others around the world. I think English should be the official language in Thailand. So Thai people have ability to contact with the person who lives far away from them. Moreover, if English will be the official language in Thailand of course Thai people will be able to speak English fluency.

| Remember what happened at the tower of Babel? There is no question, absolutely none, that English should be the official language.

| I disagree with this idea because Thai people cannot speak English strong enough. So, if we would like to take English to be the official language; we have to make sure that Thai people understand English well for avoiding mistakes from misunderstanding language.

| It can be, but you have to spend a lot of time to change Thai opinion about English.
Thai people have vision about English in negative side.
It will be good when we have to communicate to another country or the city.
