What are different things between Thai people and American people?

I think the obvious different things between Thai people and American people is to come on tome.
I'm a person who often come on time, and I like anyone who is like me.
If I know I will come late, I won't come late than 15-20 minutes.
We're English major students, so we have to come to class on time and be a model of others.

Western people are totally different from Thai in general
But in the western culture, people from different countries are not the same as well
For example, European are more direct than American.

I like the one of American values that American people respect to the freedom of a person.
Americans can do or speak whatever they want to as long as it does not harm others.
But, in Thailand, every action is noticed by the others to find out if you have done something bad or not. I do not like how Thai people think about this.
Moreover, the thing I like about American values is that everyone has a right to show his/her idea.
But, in Thai, children have no chance to express how they think about something.
Children has to obey to the elder for everything.

-Seasons
In US, like many other countries, they have 4 seasons, which are Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall while in Thailand, we have Summer, Rainy and Winter.
-Greeting
Americans really love to greet each other even if one does not know each other. When you walk pass the stranger, it is ok to say hi or hello and you can expect to receive the greeting back with a smiley face. In Thailand, we usually do not talk to the stranger except for the rural area where people are really friendly.
