The reason to live in the world is once said by the Buddha that all humans have been reincarnated for hundreds of times to keep either making merit or receiving the result of committing sins in the past since the being of previous lives. In the previous of lives before being a man, lives of living things take place in various form such as plant, animal, evil spirit, angel and god. Buddha’s speech reveals that making more merits leads to better form of life like the angel or even the god being pleased with happiness and good things in the heaven and committing sins causes the worse form of life like the evil spirit suffering in the hell.
