What do you think about Thai education?

Education system is important all over the world. It concerns the future of a country by educating children who will become a country’s future. In my opinion, Thai Education system should reform now.
We should start with teacher development because teacher teachers are role models for student. To be a good and effective teacher isn't easy. It needs dedication, passion, and determination. Teachers should be the models of thinking outside the box. But, Thai teachers can never be these models. This failure is due to the fact that real training has never taken place. All of the training train all of the Thai teachers to think inside the box and stick to what they have learned. They don’t have the ability to try new things or announce new ideas. Now it's time to improve !

I feel bad that Thai education seems to force students to get knowledge from tutors rather than to study in the classroom. Students say in the classroom teachers cannot provide what the national test like O-net or Gat-Pat requires students to know so they have to gain more knowledge outside the classroom. The trend of education for students is to do the exam with high score and to roll in the famous university at the famous faculty to be praised as an excellent student. I feel very bad for this trend. Especially, for English language, students have no awareness why they have to study but to know in order to make high scores in the exam. Four skills of English language seems to be defeated by 4 choices of the exam.

According to the O-NET scores, it showed that Thai students are poor at many subjects.
I don't know exactly what the causes are between the difficult test and student's lacking knowledge.
The test showed low scores every year which tells us Thai education system we use is not successful.
The education system need to be improved from the schools to the minister.
There are also the problems about differences between students in some places.
The school in the city is full of smart students while in some school, students are not even read Thai.
This is a big problem all Thais should think of the way to solve it as soon as possible.

Thai education doesn't prepare students to use their brain
They provide diligent but stupid people
Real education should tell us where to look but not where to see
We should teach children to be able to learn by themselves

For me, Thai education is a little bad. There are many reasons make me think like that.
First, students have to study about 7-8 hours a day. I think it's overload for them because students
have to remember information in textbooks and have to do a lot of homework.
One more thing, school or teachers admire students who have good GPA and they also think that
students who have bad GPA are stupid. It's so funny for me!

Thai educational system can be better if we seriously look at it.
It is not only teachers who has the duty to develop educational system.
