What are your recommended Thai festivals?

The suggested festival in Thailand is Loy Krathong.
Loy Krathong is the Thai festival held to pay homage
and ask for some forgiveness from the Goddess of Water.
We have used a lot of water for our daily life, and
Songkran Festival is the time to show the respect to Mae Kong Ka--the Water Goddess.
I do my own Krathong to float away my sins on the water and some fortunes come to my life.

And in this festival, the unique of costume is a colorful shirt or Thai costume.
It is a funny festival that the foreigner want to join with Thai people.

I think it's Loykrathong Festival. In this festival, we can show the beauty of Thai culture.
We will make the krathong this day for floating in the river. What we bring to make it is banana leaf.
When we make the krathong, we make it very beautiful and I think it looks very Thai.
It can show our Thainess through this small krathong very well.
For me, I like making my krathong; I'm looking forward to making it this day.
I want everyone to make our own krathong for being proud of our graceful Thai festival, Loykrathong.

I suggest the wax castle procession or 'Hea Prasart Peung' at Sakonnakorn Province.
The festival held during the 12th-15th day of waxing moon in October to mark the end of Buddhist’s Lent, the festival is an exciting showcase. People will join hands in decorating wax castle together, beautiful wax castle from different temples will join the procession. Isan people believe that the wax will welcome Lord Buddha who comes back from the heaven to help all creatures on earth.
