What do you think about phubbing? Is it good or not?

First of all, I will explain about phubbing.
Phubbing = phone+snubbing
The meaning is "to ignore (snub) people in front of you by using
your smart phone."
In my opinion I don't think it's a good idea to gazing
at the phone while you are meeting with friends.
That's the bad habit because it means you do not pay attention
to people in front of you.
Moreover, the number of people that addict to the phone or social media
are increasing dramatically. What do you think about it?

Sometimes, I have a phubbing because I check my phone
whenever I am with my friends.
I think it is a bad behavior because to care about phone than people is terrible.
I try to change this habit because I have to respect people who besides me.

In my point of view, phubbing is not too bad.
However, there are bad effect more than good effect.
Phubbing make the real world is far. For exampl;
Mary is sitting with her friends but her friend just
interested in their phone, social world. Why we don't
talk with people around us. So it makes
the world is too far.
